New Mexico Health Care Political Action Committee

At each year's legislative session, the House of Representatives and Senate introduce bills and enact laws that can have a dramatic impact on skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and intermediate care facilities.

From legislation on legal and liability issues, increased regulation and the minimum wage, to our annual fight for budget dollars, NMHCA is not only involved in every major issue facing our industry, but leading the conversation on issues related to long term care in New Mexico.

That’s why it’s important for NMHCA to have a strong political action committee (PAC).

The NMHCA Political Action Committee allows NMHCA members to provide financial contributions and educational opportunities to New Mexico legislators and candidates. By promoting political leaders that understand and support long term care, we are able to ensure that your concerns are voiced at the Roundhouse and beyond.
