Nursing Facilities

You are eligible for membership in NMHCA/NMCAL if you are a provider of facility-based services for seniors or disabled individuals within the State of New Mexico and you have met the requirements for state licensure, if required.

WHY SHOULD I BECOME A MEMBER?

By becoming a nursing facility member of NMHCA, you become an integral part of a winning team. As a whole, we seek to educate and influence public policymakers to create an environment where facilities can provide the highest quality of care and help improve the lives of the frail elderly and disabled individuals we serve.

Association staff actively monitors changes in the long-term care delivery system and provides timely updates to members on issues. The participation of members on various committees helps ensure we understand and address the issues most important to our members.

Your membership in New Mexico's only professional association for long-term care also includes:

  • Legislative and regulatory advocacy
  • AHCA/NCAL membership:  your national long-term care voice
  • Being a part of an effective coalition of long-term care professionals
  • Professional staff development programs and certification programs
  • Opportunities for committee participation and networking
  • Up-to-date information via our website, weekly newsletter, The Bulletin, and email notices.
  • And much more!
