NMHCA New Mexico Health Care Association
he New Mexico Health Care Association (NMHCA) is a professional trade association for facility-based long term care providers. 

Our member's include:

  • Nursing Facilities
  • Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (In New Mexico these facilities are called Intermediate Care Facilities for the Mentally Retarded or ICF/MRs.)
  • Assisted Living/Residential Care Facilities.

NMHCA's mission:

  • Gaining public recognition of services provided by the long term care industry
  • Education of long term care providers
  • Representing our members in legislative and regulatory areas
  • Development and implementation of industry standards
